For Go, begin on the 9×9 board before trying 19×19. Place stones on intersections and keep track of each connected group's adjacent empty points, called liberties. Choose the scoring rules before starting; Chinese and Japanese scoring count the final position differently. For chess, first learn the legal moves of each piece and how to answer check, then try a game against the computer. The playroom includes tutorials to explore these rules.
围棋初学者可以先选9×9棋盘，再尝试19×19。棋子落在交叉点，注意相连棋块旁的空点，也就是“气”。开局前先选计分规则，中日规则的终局计分方法不同。国际象棋先学习棋子走法和应将，再尝试人机对局。可通过游戏内教程了解这些规则。
囲碁は9×9の盤から始め、慣れたら19×19を試せます。石は交点に置き、つながった石の周りの空点を確かめましょう。中国式・日本式は終局の数え方が異なるので、開始前にルールを選びます。チェスは駒の動きと王手への対応を学んでから、コンピューターとの練習へ進めます。詳しい遊び方はゲーム内の説明で確認できます。
